Fresh tripe is a true delicacy on the menu in several restaurants abroad. In the Netherlands however, we prefer to feed it to our beloved pets. Specifically for the dog, tripe is extraordinarily healthy. The scent of this roll is even more intense than the color on the outside. 
For this reason, it’s even more of a treat. This sausage is the ideal option for dogs with a small appetite.
Like you may have heard before, fresh tripe has a positive effect on the intestinal flora. It contains natural enzymes &amp; prebiotics and those satisfy the intestines.
You could use this roll as diversification of the diet, as it doesn’t contain a complete prey animal. It consists of 80% tripe (which is the stomach of a cow, so falls into the category of organ meat).
